School Play 2011 Auditions

Six people. Six strangers.
One broken lift.
A secret which affects them all.

When six seemingly random strangers find themselves trapped in a broken lift, it seems like an inconvenient incident - however, all may not be as it seems. As the characters reveal their pasts to each other, it becomes clear that their is a dark connection between them. Can they discover it before it's too late? And who knows what darkness lies in the heart of each of them?

Ladies & Gentlemen,

Auditions for the School Play will take place on Wednesday 3rd November, with Rehearsals beginning shortly afterwards. Both auditions and rehearsals will take place during Study Club (plus a couple of Sunday's in March).

The format of the auditions will be similar to last year - I will take the names of all who sign up, and put them into groups of six. Each group will be given a scenario and a character, then improvise and rehearse a short scene to perform back to the audition panel.

Anyone who doesn't want a speaking part does not have to audition. The ensemble is open to anyone who wants to participate.

Those who are interested in working backstage, there will be an opportunity to sign up this term - keep an eye on the pupil notes.
